Merrell Siren Sport Q2 Mid Waterproof

Trail Tuesday Review: The all new Merrell Siren Sport Q2 Mid Waterproof. I, @Im_Nicolemarie have actually long awaited and lusted over this hiking boot for a new set of adventures in 2017. The Siren, introduced by @merrelloutside in 2007 was designed for women, BY women. Having worn several different lows and mids, trying to find my one true love for hiking footwear, this is truly IT. Having studied the women’s market, needs and demands for the last 10 years since their launch of the Siren, you can bet this is THE hiking shoe for you. For 2017, Merrell has redesigned the popular Siren featuring advanced ‘Q Form’ technology. What does this mean? …well, it means all around comfort starting with a dual density midsole, featuring four marked quadrants for foot support. Heel centering technology is made possible via a built in air pocket for to ensure solid support and alignment, keeping the foot in place and ensures stability when hiking all terrains. Other reliable features include the Select Grip Sole, Merrell Select Dry which help materials to dry faster and Merrell Select to reduce shoe odor. And, with women in mind, there are several options for your own personal style and hiking style, offering the Siren Sport Q2 in both a low and mid, five different colorways, and waterproof options.

It was in Puerto Rico last year with the Merrell team where I was first introduced to the new Siren and I told them, I just had to have them. So far, I have hiked in them along rain soaked trails, rocks, done some scrambling and some ridge and mixed terrain hiking just this past weekend. You can bet, I will be wearing these as well as picking up a low style pair as well for the warmer summer temperatures and hikes.
