LifeStraw & The Campaign To 1 Million
Trail Tuesday Review & Promo, LifeStraw. I, @Im_NicoleMarie have been using the LifeStraw product for years, and I always have my personal water filter along with me for both travel and the trail and keep it packed along with the 10 Essentials when hiking and backpacking. In addition to reliable, affordable, tried and tested product, LifeStraw is also in the business of doing good. This week I @Im_NicoleMarie will be traveling with the LifeStraw team to Kenya as part of their Follow The Liters Program and their ‘Campaign To Reach 1 Million.’ On Friday, I begin this trip that, while we are there @LifeStraw will fulfill their goal of providing safe drinking water to their 1 millionth child. The Follow The Liters Program began in 2014 and under this program, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of any LifeStraw product helps to fund the installation of LifeStraw Community purifiers which are distributed to schools in developing communities. Each consumer purchase provides one school child in a developing community with safe water for an entire school year. While we are in Kenya we will install these filters in 20 new schools and meet the goal of reaching our one millionth child together.
