Deuter Speed Lite 20

The Deuter Speed Lite 20 is currently my go to daypack. After having worn out my Camelbak, I @im_nicolemarie decided to go for something a little different, partly because I love this color but also because I am a huge fan of my Deuter ACT Lite 45 for backpacking. Deuter makes packs specially designed for a woman, and I stand by their product, structure and materials after having used my ACT Lite for a three day backpacking trip in Yosemite last year. So, when picking a new day pack, I knew I wanted to stay with the Deuter brand. The Deuter brand is dependable, reliable, and well established having been founded in 1898. The Speed Lite 20 bag is especially lightweight, weighing just 1lb and has breathable air-mesh shoulder straps for comfort and quick drying, and are also contoured to best fit a woman’s frame. It is also hydration pack compatible, and can comfortably fit a 3 liter reservoir, perfect for the summer hikes we are about to be on. Even though the Speed Lite is a lightweight pack, it is structured in a way in which its contents do not move around in. It also has multiple outside straps for function, like a waist belt and compression straps for extra storage for hauling of gear. The Speed Lite 20 is made of ripstop nylon with a double lined bottom. I can’t stress in specs or this review alone how comfortable this pack is to wear. And coming in at less than $100 along with the hydration feature makes it that much more of an awesome and necessary piece of equipment in my, @im_nicolemarie ever growing collection.
