Hike. Travel. Hike. Travel… The two sort of always seem to go hand in hand, and no time more so for me, @Im_NicoleMarie in the month of January this year. So, I was delighted when at the Outdoor Retailer show to see that my go to backpack, Deuter, for all my hiking adventures had introduced the Walker 24. The Walker is a daypack that has everything I love about Deuter built into the design and functionality. Like, their strap system and cooling system for the back to reduce contact and optimize circulation for a comfortable haul around town, hiking, traveling on planes or whatever it is you do on the daily. On past travels, I would gladly bring along one of my more technical Deuter bags, because they are so comfortable to wear because of their state of the art suspension systems, where I never have discomfort or pain, even going all the way up to my 60L. So, the release of the Walker 24 couldn’t have had me more excited or come at a better time as I hauled it around the halls of the #ORShow, airports and all around the country while sightseeing and hiking around Ireland last week. Some notable highlights of the Walker bag include a padded laptop compartment that can be accessed from inside the bag or from the side when the bag is closed (genius), a side pocket for easy to grab necessities and accessories, sternum strap and removable waist belt. The front zip compartment also features pockets for easy organization when packing up and on the go. The Walker line comes in three different sizes: 16, 20 and 24 (as seen here) and a variety of colors to suit your style.
The Walker is brand new to the Deuter line for spring release, so look for them to be on sale at a retailer near you and online any day.
