Lifestraw Water Filter & Go Bottle

Water is an essential when we’re on the trail and I, @Im_NicoleMarie want to share some options from Lifestraw that I love and use while hiking, backpacking and traveling.

Lifestraw has two great options that are a go to for me, one being their personal (straw type) water filter and also the Lifestraw Go Bottle. Each of these products filter out 99.9999% of waterborne bacteria and 99.9% of waterborne protozoa and are also equipped with carbon filter to improve the odor and taste of the water when being filtered through.

The personal water filter is ideal for hiking, backpacking, camping, travel, and emergency preparedness and lets you turn up to 1,000 liters of contaminated water into safe drinking water. The straw is easy to use, lightweight (just 2oz) and I have it ready to go for hikes in my bag of 10 essentials.

The Go Bottle is something I use nearly every day, the refillable water bottle has the filter built into the lid, so you can access safe drinking water with you on the go. It’s a huge time saver while on the trail and also great if you’re traveling and frequenting airports, hotels etc.

@Lifestraw is doing more than just ensuring that we, hikers and adventurers have clean water while on the trail, but they are also on a mission to provide clean water to school children in Africa. For every product sold, one school child in a developing community receives clean drinking water for one year through their Follow The Liters program. So far, over 600K of these children have been served, as well as over 1,000 schools reached and served and that’s just the beginning, @Lifestraw is on their way to serving one million children leading up into 2018.

I’m extremely excited and proud to tell you about the Lifestraw product and mission, learn more on their website, http://lifestraw.com/follow-the-liters/
